A calm, gentle story every night
Nodland is a bedtime-story app for kids, built around one simple idea: a calm, gentle story every night, told with your child's name in it. Everything works fully offline. No account, no ads, and no internet needed — open the app at bedtime and it just works.
What's inside
365 stories
120 Short, 125 Medium, and 120 Long pre-written stories — one for every day of the year, plus 10 bonus Thanksgiving stories.
Made yours
Add your child's name as the hero, one character (a family member, a friend, or a pet), and your town — and the story is told with them in it.
Tonight's Story
Can't choose? Tonight's Story picks one for tonight, so bedtime starts without a debate.
Lullabies & rain
5 gentle music-box lullabies plus calming rain sounds, with a sleep timer that fades out.
One-tap wind-down
Tonight's story, followed by the lullaby or rain sound you picked — one tap and the evening settles.
Your own voice
Record stories in your own voice. Recordings stay on your device only — they are never uploaded or shared.
Favorites & pick-up
Save favorites and pick up where you left off, right at the sentence you paused on.
Bedtime reminder
A gentle daily reminder when bedtime approaches, plus a sleep timer for stories.
Fully offline
No account, no ads, no internet. Non-stimulating before bedtime: no videos, no stimulating images.
A peek inside
The app at a glance — calm screens, nothing flashing, nothing to tap through but the story.
Try a sample story
Three full stories are free to read right here — the same three samples the app lets you try before buying. The app personalizes them with your child's name; below they read the way the app fills them in.
